One that I can think of is Herb Abrahamson, who ended up pretty much down and out after being bought out/forced out of Atlantic Records. I believe that Jerry Wexler took his place at Atlantic.

I'm a sports fan - tho to a much lesser degree than in the past - but I can't imagine a bigger waste of my time than to listen to fools calling a radio station with their "enlightened views", and two bigger fools responding to the calls. Caught these two for thirty seconds or so several times, and that was much too long.
