A timely thread given the fact just today at lunch I was commenting on how many new enterprises I have financed via stolen equipment, supplies, and tools. In Pennsylvania not only do we elect our DAs but we elect our judges as well. Now that's fucked up. I'll go you one better - how about electing sheriffs, too? Don't worry about law enforcement training, education, experience - elect your favorite good ol' boy. Much better that way. I never understood the Sheriff election thing either. A better way would probably be for the county commisioners or whoever runs the show to promote from within the department or hire from another agency, county, or state, like police departments do.

Best way to do a brat is pre-cook on the stove for a bit in a water and beer mix along with some onion of you like. Then, when you're ready to grill throw them on long enough to finish.

While this is definitely better than not watching it at all, I'd highly recommend that if you enjoy the show, that you seek them out on DVD. A&E has edited the shit out of the episodes, and what you are seeing on A&E is really not the way they are meant to be seen. I definitely agree with you. I caught part of an episode on A&E last night and listening to Paulie argue with Ralph using the word "freakin" just doesn't cut it. Plus the constant breaks in the middle of scenes is annoying. That was a great season though.
