  1. he he I missed this the first time through, what time is the party? S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y, NIGHT!
  2. Wasn't Billy Higgins pretty much the house drummer for BN?
  3. I forgot to mention, spend some quality time with my best buddy and favorite Chihuahua, "Minga"!
  4. Friday evening, I have plans to meet some friends for dinner and drinks. On Saturday, sleep in a bit, get up probably about 6:30-7:00. Throw some tunes on, off to get a hair cut around 9:00, check on some work with one of the crews, search for a truck to buy for a new irrigation tech starting on Monday, and then go check out a friends new house. In the evening I plan on grilling some veal chops and having some beers/cocktails with a lady friend. Sunday, sleep in a little more, grab a bagel, read the newspaper, make a trip to Tower, return home to give the news cds a listen, do a little housework, and then hopefully nothing else until about 6:00 PM. I have a few friends that come over and watch the Sopranos with me at 7:00, I'll probably make some pasta, drink a few beers, and call it a night. Of course showering, shaving, watching some TV, drinking a few more beers, and if I'm lucky, a little lovin' action will be worked into this hectic schedule.
  5. Well, that explains the drinking.
  6. I don't believe it is available in my area either.
  7. A question I ask myself everyday. B)
  8. I've got to admit All Music has been a real ear opener for me. I hate to admit it, but I've got no other Warne Marsh leader dates. My only exposure to him up until now has been on Supersax Plays Bird, and Art Pepper's The Way It Was. I'm looking forward to changing this.
  9. I never knew what Olestra was until I ate some tainted Pringles some moron friend of my wife was serving at a party one night, oh man, I couldn't drive home fast enough. That shit is pure evil, stay away from it!
  10. Oh hell no, I'm not even sure she enjoyed the pastrami all that much. B)
  11. Underground, book at least one night at the Albertson Arms in the CPW area. You're a dead duck if you steal the towels, ashtrays, or wine glasses, but the music collection is up for grabs.
  12. My old lady did the same thing.
  13. P.D., how you doin'? Lon, that Rollins/Hawkins date is a motha!
  14. Looks like I had 3 and 12 correct. Jim I feel your pain with the flu. I just got over being sick for what seemed like almost a month. Glad you are feeling better.
  15. One big HELL YES for Coleman! Some of my other favorite 60's dates with Hawkins.
  16. The writing is on the wall, Feech is definitely going after Tony, but in the end I think Tony still comes out on top. Frank Vincent's character is indeed right on the money, makes me wonder why he wasn't in from day one.
  17. Off the top of my head I would have to say Duke.
  18. Tough choice to make, but I picked Peckin' Time.
  19. Insane indeed! On a normal day if I'm in the office I leave the site up all day and probably look at it a few times every hour. Very addictive, this board is.
  20. I would buy it. I know Dan was thinking jazz, but it's hard to dispute the on stage hip and cool of Frank, Dean, and Sammy.
  21. I about died when I saw him giving massages to the guys and Tony walked in and made the slumber party comment.
  22. I could see that happening, of course on the other hand it would be much more dramatic if someone had to kill her. I think Tony B. (Buscemi) will get back in the game sooner or later.
  23. Yeah, Loggia was a great choice. Another good laugh, Paulie hitting the guy in the head with the shovel causing the other guy to fall from the tree, and then Paulie puts the lawn mower in the trunk of his El Dorado.
