  1. I'm re-watching Fringe Season 3 on Blu-ray in preparation for watching Season 4 on Blu-ray.
  2. I wasn't as impressed with Garfield, and the whole movie fell flat for me.
  3. I think we all know you approve of dancing. Dancing makes life better!
  4. My best friend played trumpet in a swingtet here in Austin for a handful of years, and there was quite a bit of dancing going on. The pianist's then wife was a swing dance instructor, and that meant bodies on the dance floor. A lot of fun. My late wife Helen and I even danced at a few of their gigs. I miss this band. Here's a poster from one of their best events. The red beans and rice were good. A photo of the core band.
  5. 99 percent won't do.
  6. Brooks, a real beauty! My '59 Thinline Jazzmaster reissue has the anodized gold pickguard and I've learned to love it. Glad you got it my friend.
  7. I can't tell if it's simply because I listened to this two lp set so much when I first got it and until I bought a cd version, but it sounds amazing to me to this day on this release. . . I guess I do hear the "murk" but it seems more cohesive and "pulsing with energy" to me.
  8. Love that music; I have it on cd.
  9. Listening to the second disc.
  10. Many many happy happy returns!
  11. Listening to those in my last order. Lots of great Benny Goodman! Many of these records don't appear to ever have been played, and several were sealed. Thanks again Pete.
  12. I have DVD-Rs that have lasted for over 7 years . . . though I have had a few cdrs go bad, not yet have I had a DVD-R go bad.
  13. Just got in all the Sunbeam LPs of Madhattan Room broadcasts (have these on cd from Viper's Nest)--listening to the first volume now.
  14. Shorter) 18:00 As the tune is winding down, Davis says, "Teo, you got enough of that..." 2 Dual Mr. Tillmon Anthony Williams Process (new take 1) (M. Davis) 13:19 Listed on the sleeve and label as "Dual Mr. Tillman Anthony (William Process)," but since Tony Williams' full name is Tillmon Anthony Williams, the title is more likely to be as listed here. Davis (and perhaps also Gil Evans) is the composer http://www.plosin.com/MilesAhead/Sessions.aspx?s=681111
