couw
if i saw ANY hot chick with small tits in a blue note shirt, she would get equal attention as a hot chick w/ big tits in a blue note shirt. I'm an equal oppurtunity harrasser!! That about sums it up: in his own words. What a shame he's allowed to pollute this board with this crap. what an even bigger shame that people seem to enjoy it

Brad
I don't think anybody gets a kick out of him. Short of giving him a holiday from the Board or ignoring his posts, there isn't much to be done.
Lazaro Vega
Then there's the historical perspective. Who recalls the Blue Note ad campaign with the lovely woman laid out by her portable record player, album covers fanned across the floor, and the one she's holding looking admiringly at is Cecil Taylor's "Conquistador"? I love that kind of marketing! I didn't see the "original" campaign, but it was reprinted in every album sleeve Blue Note brought out in the 1980's. That's quiet sarcasm if ever there was any. If Blue Note is buying ad space in Billboard, cool biz: thank you Nora Jones! If you have a problem with marketing, remove it from your life and see what information has come to you without it. Guest ariceffron
Oh yeahhhhhhhhh!!!!! i remember that chick. I think the original ad was like: the sound of '67 with blue note or something. thank you for introducing the historical persepective! blue lake
As long as it ain't Jazz for a Bushy Day -- you might be confused with a neo-con propagandist.
alankin
Hmm, I wonder why more women don't participate on jazz forums?
robviti
i think it's due to a lack of commitment. I'm not necessarily offended, but I don't think this is the place for it either. We are trying to attract a diverse membership, including women, and this isn't really a good way to do that. That said, just like with our member "Saxophone Vagina", I'm not going to censor you. If you like it, keep it. But I've been to some forums where members have gone overboard and have actual porn pictures in their avatars and sigs. It's supposed to be a professional audio forum and it's just childish. It's your call, dude.
