I concur!!!

Interesting, I must admit I have never heard of or seen this After the Bridge record. Seems to be mainly Japanese issues on Discogs. What’s the story here, who is on these sessions and why weren’t they released at the time?

The sessions were also issued on domestic CDs, just under different titles.

The initial issue was by French RCA and was unapproved by Rollins.

Earl Anderza - Outa Sight [Fontana, Netherlands, 1963]

First listen, there will be lots more. I do love the fact that after listening to Jazz for 30+ years there's still albums like this to discover. love the "tartness" of his tone.

Earl Anderza was quite a unique player .... btw could have live here easily with Jack Wilson on piano only though ....

Gave this LP a spin last night.  Enjoyed it so much that I'm playing it again now:

I don't have that one, I do have a couple of others of Rosewoman's from that vintage that I like a lot

Gunther Klatt & Elephantrombones - Live At Jazztage Leverkusen [Enja, Germany 1988]

Picked this up dirt cheap and it's a really interesting listen, especially if you like trombone sections...four trombonists on this. Some lovely writing and orchestration

Haven't dug that Anderza out in a minute. Thanks for the reminder, enjoyable date (have the same Japanese pressing).

Katanga is brilliant. Picked that up as a Stereo PJ original at one point, not a regular find in the bins/walls of the shops so I must thank eBay for the opportunity.
