Are the DG ones the very heavy ones? MG Deep groove pressings have an indented ring near the perimeter of the label and (as they are Plastylite pressings) are in the heavy vinyl. The groove can be on both sides (usual in 47W63rd pressings) or (on some early NY USA pressings) just one side. Anything Plastylite in mono with an 'ear' is heaven to me. As great as the ambient tones of this excellent duo come thru on vinyl, the static and dust on this old ECM really compete with Bailey's jabs. I need this to be on CD someday too. Large combo with lots of sweet trumpet from Ray Copeland and liner notes by none less than Dizzy Gillespie. The music is between swing and bop, good solos all around.
