ghost of miles Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 I recently exchanged CDs with another board member, sending mine off in the envelope that I received from Catesta for his BF test. When the other member's package arrived, I noticed that he'd re-used an envelope from Jazzbo. What goes around comes around... or is it the other way round? Quote
catesta Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 It's good to know that extra seventeen cents I spent for the better quality envelope paid off. Quote

Harold_Z Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 Is this what the term "insider trading" refers to ? Quote

Aggie87 Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 (edited) My favorite package from an Organissimo board member was from Big Al. He sent me a trade in a hot pink metallic envelope!! My 7 yr old daughter confiscated the envelope, so I have no idea where it is now. But the cool part was that it had Charlie Parker and JJ Johnson stamps on it (which I kept and have right below my computer monitor) I also enjoy the trades I've made with folks in other countries. Always fun to see the stamps & postmarks from other parts of the world! edit - I meant James P Johnson, not JJ Johnson - brainfart... Edited October 28, 2005 by Aggie87 Quote

Ron S Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 Sounds like some chain packages going around. Quote
.:.impossible Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 I haven't been in the mail loop lately, but I always recycle packaging, and I've noticed others have done the same. I think I've gotten more packaging with Pete Bainbridge's info on it than anyone though, and I've only traded with him once or twice! He keeps popping up everywhere! I'd love to get a package some day with my old Charlotte address on it, or my Rhode Island address! Quote
Spontooneous Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 That's how I ended up with DEEP's mailing address, long after his departure from the board. Quote
7/4 Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 I've been around here for a while and I don't know about any warm fuzzy Organissimo package. And I did, I wouldn't touch it. Quote
