brownie Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Jackie Paris is the singer. Not my favorite one but he does a creditable job! The album is a treat for fans of Don Lamond who kicks hell! There's also a great version of 'Gus's Blues' where the full band plays a Bob Brookmeyer arrangement that duplicates notes for notes the Zoot Sims solo on his Argo quartet date. Quote
