Soulstation1 Posted June 15, 2006 Author Report Posted June 15, 2006 Spread is Miami - 2 pts I'm still rolling with the Heat Quote
Big Al Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 I'm just praying Riles keeps Antoine Walker in the starting line-up... like Manu and Tim Thomas earlier in these here playoffs, 'Toine could end up being the Mavs' series MVP. That'd be more than he ever did when he was actually IN a Mavs uniform. Quote

BruceW Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 (edited) You can bet one thing.... though...... AJ has his foot up everyone of those guys' asses for that loss. He really knows what it takes to win and he will be beating that shit home to the Mavs....... "You can never lose focus if you want to win." You know you got to watch little tough guys like that.... before you can blink your eye, he has blacked both of yours, busted you lip, broken your nose and is standing over you daring you to get up off the floor. connoisseur series500 Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 Is it time for NFL yet? you big dummy you were supposed to post that in the soccer thread.... "Sorry, Pops. It's just that we've been saving all this ripple for when football starts, and Aunt Esther will be hitting us up for a church donation shortly. We better start the season while the TV still works. You had to fix it after Grady broke it last week..." Quote

Big Al Posted June 16, 2006 Report Posted June 16, 2006 No kidding! That was embarrassing! SEVEN ^%#$#^%&$ POINTS in the 4th quarter, a new playoff record. Lovely. Dirk hasn't been having a great Finals to begin with, and tonight was a letdown of apocalyptic proportions. Shaq was in rare form tonight. That MF is unreal; never seen such a huge dude be so MFing limber! And I still love him and that big-ass smile of his; even if he was kicking our asses tonight. Miami's defense was a brick wall tonight. My guys weren't going anywhere past the 3-point line. So it's a whole new series again. THIS was the Miami Heat I was dreading when this series began. It ain't over yet, but the momentum is DEFINITELY in favor of the Heat right now. NOW we got a series goin'. (Personally, I blame that dumbass Mark Cuban for going on Letterman last night and trash-talking the NBA and just giving the Heat that much more reason to want to beat his stupid ass. Way to go, dummy! Money may buy you a basketball team, but it apparently can't afford class! ) Quote

A solid game, but nothing remarkable by his standards. The Mavs couldn't buy a basket (31.6% shoooting), it's as simple as that. Hopefully they'll wake up by Sunday. BruceW Posted June 16, 2006 Report Posted June 16, 2006 THE FLASH IS BACK BUT did you seem him trying to hotdog it in the 4th and turned over the ball trying to be cute.... You can bet your ass Riley will let him know about that in the lockerroom. The HEAT are back.... Go Posey Quote
slide_advantage_redoux Posted June 16, 2006 Report Posted June 16, 2006 That was some sad shit! Quote
