What's a fair price for the Commodore vol.1 Mosaic?

Although $300 is not a bad price, I have seen several copies of Volume I go for less than $250 on ebay over the last year. If you are willing to wait and monitor ebay listings, I am sure that you could easily beat $300. (Of course, Mosaic prices always seem to surge on ebay during the fourth quarter as Christmas fast approaches.)

The set is 23 LPs--I think it cost something like $200-225 new, so the price seems fair.

That's a very good price. A couple of years ago I mentioned here that the Jazz Record Shop had one for $450 and it was quickly snapped up.

Volume 1 of the Commodore boxes sold for $207 when it was released. It sold out very quickly!

Volume 1 is also probably the best of the three volumes.

Yep - My V1 certainly has one.

In addition to the booklet, Volume 3 also includes a Commodore discography.

Yep - My V1 certainly has one.

So has mine! I have also included a copy of a very interesting 12-page article/interview of Milt Gabler that appeared in the February 1988 issue of Audio magazine.

I'd ask them, I'm not sure of the current status of the booklets. I bought the bookes and received tthe discography from them, but it was years back.

Yes--my friend, who runs a record store, sold the set to me for $110, and I got a booklet from Mosaic last week. The box is a bit banged up, but the LPs are in excellent shape.

Now I just need to get a record player...that will happen, budgetarily speaking, in May.
