Chuck Nessa Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 Readership sank when 24 came on. Any other observations? Quote
Matthew Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 No tv for me. I'm just sitting here listening to Wish You Were Here. Quote
JSngry Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 I was doing balance transfers on the phone. What's 24, that Jackeifer Bauerland show? Haven't seen it yet. I am going to watch Anthony Bourdain No Reservations right now. LTB & I make it part of our Monday routine. Quote
Matthew Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 (edited) Usually, not much going on during football. Though strangely enough, I've logged on at various points of the day and night, I've never come on with no one else logged on. Be it 1:00 a.m. PST, or even 2:00 a.m., someones always looking in. Wonder if anyone has been on by him/her self. Edited January 23, 2007 by Matthew Quote
J Larsen Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 I don't have an antenna and do not subscribe to cable. Just DVDs for me. Quote
RDK Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 Heh. I'm curious what will happen when Idol comes on tomorrow. Much of America watches the show, but most of us jazz fans poo-poo it. Quote

Alexander Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 I was making an omelette. "Strong Caleb, did you just make the best omelette ever during the commerical break?" "I sure did!" Quote
RDK Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 Well I'm back after 24 and Studio 60 (had to dvr Heroes). Monday nights are busy around here! Quote
paul secor Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 Never watched 24 - am I missing much/anything? Quote
rostasi Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 Watched the first season of 24. When the second season started, there were constant televised interruptions - State of the Union address, some sports thing that ran overtime, et al - and you couldn't set up a time to record it to watch later. Anyway, it was clear that I was broadcasting's slave and so I became disgusted with myself and quit watching TV altogether. Except for the local weather report and occasional Sunday evening British comedy, it's stays off. Even the meteorologists are getting it wrong, so that may go by the wayside too. Did notice our local sports guy's glee with the retirement of our Cowboys coach - funny moment. Quote

Dan Gould Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 How long have you been waiting for the chance to use that pic, Randy? Quote
Rosco Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 You know, if you listen to Wish You Were Here while watching 24... it doesn't synch up in any way whatsoever. Try it! Quote
Soulstation1 Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 i've never seen 5 minutes of 24..... during the nba finals last year, people were posting stuff for sale during the games Quote

Do you start the album after the first gunshot, or the second? Will this eventually tour the country being called "Wish You Were 24"? Quote

You have to sync up Jack's first torture scene with "If I Only Had a Heart." Quote
