Ron S Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 Anyone else notice it? Didn't take me long to put way too many things on it. Quote
ASNL77 Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 Yes, I have just noticed that. I am not sure it is going to revolutionise the way I use the Mosaic website. I can't see much point in this..... In my case it would be easier to have a 'list of the sets I don't intend buy' than a 'wish list' as the latter is far far too long! Quote
Ron S Posted June 8, 2007 Author Report Posted June 8, 2007 I know--there are far more items that ARE on my wish list than AREN'T. I guess it's useful if you want to give potential gift-givers access to it (not that I would--nobody ever gives ME a Mosaic ). I just used it to get a count of how many Mosaics I might actually want--and then got depressed. Quote
Unk Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 IN the past, I've had vendors/sellers/publishers offer a special discount on already-listed wish list items (listed before the sale was announced). Just a dream... I suppose the sellers use it to gauge production/demand. Quote
Ken Dryden Posted June 9, 2007 Report Posted June 9, 2007 Maybe it's like a bridal registry where you can get loved ones and friends to pick something that you really need and don't already own! Quote
jazzbo Posted June 9, 2007 Report Posted June 9, 2007 I created a wish list. It was fun. It will make it easier to order. I can save about six seconds per set. Quote
The Magnificent Goldberg Posted June 9, 2007 Report Posted June 9, 2007 I can save about six seconds per set. :g Do they say that they'll let you know if any of your wishlist items are just about to disappear? MG Quote
J Larsen Posted June 9, 2007 Report Posted June 9, 2007 I think they should have a running low club where they keep your CC info on file and automatically send you anything that hits the list. Quote
mikeweil Posted June 9, 2007 Report Posted June 9, 2007 What's missing is a function that sums up the prices so I know how much I am going to spend there ..... Quote
J Larsen Posted June 9, 2007 Report Posted June 9, 2007 Why the hell would you want to know THAT??? I always make an effort to divert my eyes from that line on the CC statement... Quote
Claude Posted June 9, 2007 Report Posted June 9, 2007 (edited) What a spectacularly innovative function! I hope Mosaic has patented this, like Amazon did with their 1-click-ordering button Edited June 9, 2007 by Claude Quote

Looks like the wheel was reinvented by Mosaic... Still, I think it's a good thing Mosaic finally added it to their site. Edited June 9, 2007 by J.A.W. Quote
