sidewinder Posted June 9, 2007 Report Posted June 9, 2007 Some nice videos on there. That Miles 'Calypso Frelimo' is particularly good. Quote
J.A.W. Posted June 9, 2007 Report Posted June 9, 2007 I don't think promoting bootlegs is allowed here. Quote
bertrand Posted June 9, 2007 Report Posted June 9, 2007 I'm sure Jim will remove this ASAP - just give us enough time to bookmark the page Quote
Guy Berger Posted June 9, 2007 Report Posted June 9, 2007 I don't think promoting bootlegs is allowed here. Let's call them "unofficial recordings", then. But seriously -- I am guessing that Jim A will want the link deleted. Out of curiosity, for those that have checked out this site, how lossy are the files? I've heard rumors that in some cases tracks aren't separated (ie concerts are one entire long track). Guy Quote

I mean a friend of mine downloaded the Brecker Brothers file from 1976, it came as one long track (about 50 minutes). Or so I heard... Quote
Rooster_Ties Posted June 9, 2007 Report Posted June 9, 2007 The videos all just link to Youtube stuff, so that's no different that what goes on here day in and day out. And the audio is all streamed from the site, from what I can see. (Supposedly you can download actual files, but those links don't do anything that I can see -- or at least not that I can get to work). Look before you delete, Jim. The harm here is minimal, afaic. (This ain't no dime.) Quote
