The Quincy Jones looks nice, but the Hamp - with Kaiser Marshall and my old friend Vernon Alley (not to mention the front-line greats - irresistible.

Good chance if so that it will appear on Amazon UK in a year or so time at a good price. I'll wait until then.

Mosaic increased the price of its CD sets to $17 per disc some time ago when the Jack Teagarden Roulette set was released.

Correct. If I remember correctly the price of the Selects was increased to $44 at the same time.

So will I - if I decide to buy it, that is; the audio clips (right-hand side of the page) didn't quite convince me and I wasn't exactly a fan of Jones' This Is How I Feel About Jazz and The Birth of a Band albums. Good playing but nothing special, at least not to my ears.
