brownie Posted November 19, 2007 Report Posted November 19, 2007 The disc was mentioned on the Sun Ra Forum a couple of years ago. Not sure I really want to get that release! Quote
Chalupa Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 Looks like one of our fellow board members got it. Quote

rostasi Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 Damn, I guess a guy can't quietly bid on an eBay item without getting some O-Board attention! Yeah, I got a Chewy email last night. The LP isn't worth a thread of it's own. There's no Ra on it but it fulfills a couple of areas for me - filling a Saturn hole yes, but also some sound-text interests that I love pursuing. Quote
brownie Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 The LP isn't worth a thread of it's own. Was it worth $99,99? Quote
rostasi Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 Was it worth $99,99? Right now, of course, I'm thinkin yes, but it hasn't arrived yet, so we'll see what shape it's in when it gets here (it went out yesterday). Many times I've bought LPs that were worth hundreds of dollars to some folks while spending as low as $1 to get them (this record years ago). Conversely, I've sold stuff for hundreds of dollars that meant practically nothing to me, so it all, of course, depends on one's interests. Quote
clifford_thornton Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 I'm curious for your report, Rod. I've never owned the Dream House 77'17" LP - it goes for more dough than it probably should, considering it's one of the most common Shandar vinyls! Quote
