Chuck Nessa Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 I know your plan. You are trying to put more distance between us. Thanks for the report. Glad you are safe. Quote

ghost of miles Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 Hey man, I'm sorry I haven't checked in with you recently--but you've truly been in my thoughts, and I'm glad you got out west OK. Medjuck and I have been on a mission to collect all of the uncollected Dash Hammett--lemme know if you want me to fire any stories your way. Quote

Mom was born in Seeside. Some kinda wacky relations that we didn't really stay in contact thru the years with still live there. Perhaps I can have you meet them! Quincy Posted January 19, 2008 Report Posted January 19, 2008 (edited) Hey Mark, glad you made it aok! Where are you in Oreeegon, anywho? (Man, how my Mom hated people to pronounce it that way!!!) Mom was born in Seeside. Some kinda wacky relations that we didn't really stay in contact thru the years with still live there. Perhaps I can have you meet them! He's over 330 miles away in the east, your mom was from the coast. The Moose is practically in cowboy country. Your mom's old hometown lost the tallest sitka spruce in the country (maybe - depended on how you measured, though now it doesn't matter) last month as a storm snapped it in half. 700 years old & 206 feet tall is no more. *edited to remove map showing Seaside to Moose's city, as it didn't "stick."
