It's been really weird the last few days. At the moment, the link I normally use (saved in "favorites") just leads to a blank page. So I tried doing a google search, and those links don't work either. Or else I can view my emails, but can't reply. WTF?

My account was freaking out last week, Joe. A white screen with loading in the corner for an extended period, then a warning accompanied by a link to a "basic HTML view." It has since been corrected. Gary Sisco at JC is also having difficulties, so it's not just us.

My gmail seems ok.

For quite a while (weeks!), I was having the very slow page loads, followed by the switch to basic HTML view.

This seems to have eased up over the past few days, but in the meantime I switched to basic HTML as default at home (I'm in a rural area and use dialup). When on public computers, the normal view has again become possible.

Interesting to hear of others with similar problems; I had assumed my ISP was at fault.
