felser
by the way, I'm not exaggerating - No wonder it's rare - you own the entire supply in your basement! BTW, very nice CD, well worth the money if you like Cohn/Sims (I got it from Allen a while ago).
jazzmusicdepot
Pretty sure this was an american recording also made on the Naked City lable. robviti
i think he has: the Naked City was based on tapes that came from Japan that I remastered and that were supposed to be issued, intitially, only in Japan. The sound is actually very decent, though not spectacular. This was part of a series of things I remastered for the Japanese market for a deal that fell apart due to some bad faith. I've got more than a few in my basement if anybody wants a copy, I can sell 'em for $5 shipped, pardon the advertisement.
jazzbo
Allen, It seems Lonelhill Jazz has released this material. . . maybe in your mastering? Live at the Half Note Again, amazon.co.jap
AllenLowe
sounds familliar - and very likely Lonehill "borrowed" my work -
AllenLowe
this whole thing was a marginal deal, let us say, and I was assured that all clearances had been made - not too sure of that now and just trying to get my money back -
AllenLowe
down to about 835 copies -
