ghost of miles
That's the theme for this Valentine's-Day edition of the program--it's already archived for online listening: Dearly Beloved: Husband-and-Wife Teams in Jazz Next week: "Clark's Last Leap: Sonny Clark, 1961-62"

Lazaro Vega
This airs tonight at 10 on Blue Lake. The 9 p.m. hour features a radio special on Kind of Blue including interviews with Jimmy Cobb and others. http://www.bluelake.org/radio
Ken Dryden
Don't forget Herb & Lorraine Geller plus Jimmy & Marian McPartland. And it probably won't be long before Bill Charlap and Renee Rosnes record together.
Lazaro Vega
Bill and Renee were featured on "Piano Jazz" this weekend.
ghost of miles
Jackie and Roy are getting an entire show to themselves in the next couple of months, possibly for Night Lights (or for Afterglow, another weekly show that I do). Herb/Lorraine and the McPartlands will probably figure in a potential sequel--and I'll probably have room for a Jonathan and Darlene side or two in that one as well. Bill and Renee fall outside the general timeframe of the show (1945-1990). KOB, LV? That's a damn tough act to follow!
Lazaro Vega
Do you get those pre-produced programs from Andy Cahn at Legacy?
ghost of miles
Yes--we tend to run them during our weekday jazz guy's late-afternoon slot, often on holidays when he and I are both off. I haven't heard the KOB one yet.
