I don't know how easy it is to find but this LP was issued by Fantasy as part of a two-fer, Quartets and Orchestra.

From what I can remember the large band setting didn't sound like Timmon's natural context.

I agree. The other LP on the twofer, "Do you know the way to San Jose" is a good bit better. But "Soul food" and "Chicken & Dumplin's" kick the ass of all other Timmons LPs.
