yeah i was hanging around on the aum fidelity web and noticed that CD, eveni thought the cover was pretty cool but i listened the clips and didn't convinced me

enjoying my first run through this disc. As soulful as anything WP's recorded before and pretty damn funky too. I like the organ sound - yes a bit 'rinky' but I wonder whether Cooper-Moore's sticking with the upper register to avoid WP's bass lines

Listening to the samples. Does the "organist" ever change registrations or does he stay on that one the whole CD?

I'm curious to hear Cooper-Moore play the organ, though I don't doubt his conception is quite far from where a greazy modern-jazz organ player would take it. C-M is a pianist who also builds instruments of his own design, as well as playing flute. Check out his Cedar Box Recordings solo disc on Aum/50 Miles of Elbow Room if you get a chance.

C-M was like a surrogate father to me while I lived in NY briefly. He is a kind man.

Got the album from Aum. There is that thinness to the organ sound, but when listening to the entire cuts, it works.
