Also, I think this was only recorded/released in mono Don't know the answer to your question, but I have always wondered why the CD credits BOTH Hampton Hawes AND his pseudonym of Henry McDode. Does either version of the LP do the same? Excellent, underrated record BTW. Quote

Wow, didn't realise that McDode was HH!! found a good list of jazz pseudonyms http://list.dincom.co.uk/pseudonyms.html Don't have the LP's, so I can't answer that one for you Nice to hear Gerald Wilson's trumpet playing & I just can't get enough of Teddy Edwards!! If Hawes couldn't be credited for contractual reasons, what sense would it make to credit him for one session? The Lord Disco shows McDoide on a total of four sessions (I can't access it at this moment).
