Silver's studio work, great as it is, isn't very 'loose' (to put it mildly) -- so any live documentation of his best known POST-mid-60's lineups would be welcome.

What's the story on this recording? 1977 is still under copyright, even in the EU. Is it a bootleg or has Silver's estate given the OK for it?

I believe this release was authorized by Horace Silver (it was in the works prior to his death). At least, that's what the liner notes lead one to believe.
