This morning, I've been listening to The Individualism of Gil Evans: What an astonishing record. Today, "The Barbara Song" made my hair stand on end. Quote

Can't think why listening to it now. Quote

mikeweil Posted August 30, 2018 Report Posted August 30, 2018 (edited) Got the Fresh Sound reissue on CD today - nice surprise. This 1972 date would have fitted nicely into the Prestige catalogue of the time. The girl on the cover is Pony Poindexter's daughter Deana, who even sings a bit on twp tracks. Her dad taught her to sing along with the themes. Edited August 30, 2018 by mikeweil Quote

I have all three and, as you say, the sound quality (as well as the music) is very good. Quote
