Clay Hammond & Z.Z. Hill: Southern Soul Brothers

Great compilation assembling most of their greatest cuts .... for more goodies, Clay Hammond`s "You`ve Got Me Tamed" (Ronn) + "You Don`t Have To Suffer Anymore" (Mercury) and Z.Z. Hill`s brilliant deep soul opus "Home Ain`t Home At Suppertime" (Atlantic) are worth a listen .....

Listening to the last four Mercer Records tracks that were missing in my collection, bought them as amazon downloads, who probably sourced them from the Chronologal Classics CDs, they sound very good.
