HutchFan Posted August 4, 2019 Report Posted August 4, 2019 One of Hawk's very best records, IMO. 3 hours ago, soulpope said: 5 stars! Quote
HutchFan Posted August 4, 2019 Report Posted August 4, 2019 Joey Baron - We'll Soon Find Out (Intuition, 1999) with Arthur Blythe, Ron Carter, Bill Frisell Haven't listened to this one in a LONG time. I don't know why; it's an excellent session. ... Arthur Blythe always brings it. Quote

Think it may be OOP (as sidewinder mentioned) but still readily available, around these parts at least. My LP copy of ‘Marigolds’ is signed by Michael Garrick at Dartington Hall, Devon, sometime in the early 1970s. NP: Jaki Byrad - Here's Jaki (New Jazz/OJC) Edited August 4, 2019 by Marzz Quote

Justin V Posted August 5, 2019 Report Posted August 5, 2019 Tubby Hayes - Grita and Greens: The Lost Fontana Sessions 1969: I am a Hayes neophyte, only having one Jazz Couriers album. I am listening to the deluxe edition via Amazon Music to see whether I would be interested in purchasing it (and, if so, which version). FWIW, the regular version is $4.99 and the deluxe version is $9.49 for download, which is reasonable. Quote
Coda Posted August 5, 2019 Report Posted August 5, 2019 No new releases from this group since this 2011 recording. Quote
