EKE BBB Posted December 5, 2019 Report Posted December 5, 2019 There must be something wrong with that alto, and that’s why it sounds so painfully out of tune, right? 😜 Quote

duaneiac Posted December 6, 2019 Report Posted December 6, 2019 The Arthur Lyman disc got me in a lounge music kinda mood, so I pulled out this disc next: Quote

Justin V Posted December 6, 2019 Report Posted December 6, 2019 (edited) Discs 3 & 4, the tracks with Jesse Drakes, Gildo Mahones, Connie Kay and Gene Ramey or John Ore. I found this set for $20. I kind of wish I had waited and bought the legit import for $32. My copy is smoky and one of the essays is pretty negative about Young's later playing, so the (bare-bones?) import may have been better. Edited December 6, 2019 by Justin V Quote

I love the packaging of these mini-LPs and have begun collecting those I didn't have when I see them priced well, especially the "Japanese RVGs." Cool, thanks for the response. If I had the space.......! Quote
