This organ is in Salem, NC. Restored this century. 

Our member Pete B was married in a Moravian chapel where there is a Tannenberg organ.

I've heard several of these in person. My Mom and aunts were honored at the dedication ceremony for the rebuilt organ at Salem.

Listening to it on a EuroMusiPorn CD that couples it with Sortie, but I have a much stronger preference for this one, at least tonight.

Besides, i like how this record on this label makes for only one degree of separation between between Han Bennink and Miss Pony Tail.

Was it an upgrade over the OJC CD though? I've often found that those older OJC CDs are the best version. After all, they were made with the master tape while Japanese pressings usually used a tape copy.

Enjoyed this quite a bit.  Listened to Lee Morgan and Blue Mitchell trade fours on the opening track three times.  Lee is my guy, but Blue Mitchell sounds great here.

Etta Jones sings very well here. But the Oliver Nelson arrangements are sappy, dull and without an once of jazz feeling or content. This is the first time I have heard this, and it will be the last.

An old favorite for me also.  The version of "My Romance" where Farlow divides the strings on one chorus to get those octave effects is memorable.  I think I have a copy of the LP that Tal signed for me.  Yep.  Just checked.  "BEST WISHES ALWAYS -- TAL FARLOW"
