  I listened to it because of Surman.  There's an album with Surman and Albert Mangelsdorff which isn't that similar but worth hearing

I think My Kind of Sabi is terrific too.  I included it in my 70s jazz favorites survey.   

Eddy Louiss' most famous work might be his sideman appearance on Stan Getz's Dynasty.  (This record is TREMENDOUS, and it's also in my 70s survey.)

Sal Salvador "Quintet / Kenton Presents the Sal Salvador Quartet" Blue Note Connoisseur cd. 

Two 10" records--one Blue Note, one Capitol, reissued on one cd. Nice stuff that I haven't played in way too long.
