... already done 😂 - LPs on my shelf!

Have the 2 on CD

I mean searching  these mentioned by Gheorghe.

The best Tina Brook I heard was his solos on a live Kenny Burrell CD, and on one of those Jimmy Smith jams, I never knew which is which....

Nubya Garcia “Source”

I am finally listening to Nubya Garcia, the cd that so many were thrilled by.

It’s good. Maybe it will rub off on me and charm me more. But it’s good.

Right now

Another beautiful morning. The dachshund is bugging me for more food.

Flora Purim “Everyday, Everynight” Warner Bros. LP

This LP sounds so much better than any cd version I’ve heard. . . which is rarer in my experience than some might suspect.

I’ve loved this record since it was released. . . Raulzinho!

Ron McClure - Match Point and Age of Peace (both Steeplechase)

Love McClure´s quartet recordings with Jed Levy (tenor sax) and guitarist Bob DeVos.
Drummer Jeff Brillinger is excellent as ever. Both albums enjoy exclusively with splendid originals.

I have had this for 2+ years and I'm just now listening to it for the first time.

One of the weirdest album covers I own. Is he trying to convey that his saxophone is like baby Jesus in a manger? I mean... he looks like he's praying over it and those are sheep in the background, right?

Read 1 Samuel 17.
