jazzbo Posted April 7 Report Posted April 7 I have all those Bud Freeman Chronogical Classics--great music! “Bill Evans in England” Resonance Records 2 cd set, disc 1 I haven’t played this one in a while, and as a new RSD release (I go for the cd that comes out usually a week afterwards) is due, it seemed a good pick to start this cold morning (snow on the ground again!) I see a Bill Evans recording and get a sense I know it. . . and each time I do listen I find surprises, big and little, in the performance, arrangement, sound. . . a great thing. Especially it seems lately as the system shines so brightly. Quote

Way outa print by the time I hipped to it, but I found it years later in a box at a used record store much later. It was meant for me! Arrived today: Nice! Already to start it again. Quote
