You never know when they might dry up. I know Stan Getz's estate was looking into this label's releases at one time. Malaco still carries some items from that series: https://www.malaco.com/product-category/jazz/ The Miles is not among them...although I seem to remember the earlier set with Coltrane being there at one time? Acoustic Sounds sells the vinyl editions of these releases, but no CD's. I'd love to have this, but $43 plus $24 for shipping to the US is a bit hard to swallow... Search Discogs for Miles Davis Trema and if anything comes back that meets your needs! Quote

jazzbo Posted October 15 Report Posted October 15 (edited) This was still in the transport and I didn’t get to finish listening to all of it last evening, so I’m starting off this warmer morning with a re-listen. One of my favorite albums of the 2020s. Joel Ross “NuBlues” Blue Note cd 740×440 36.7 KB Followed by Macha Gharibian “Trans Extended” Jazz Village cd Edited October 15 by jazzbo Quote

jazzbo Posted October 15 Report Posted October 15 (edited) One of the great Carmen McRae albums, with Ronnel Bright or Ray Bryant at the piano, and Carmen herself at the piano on four selections–something I always love to hear. Carmen’s voice is so tenderly presented. Carmen McRae “After Glow” Decca/Universal Japan cd Edited October 15 by jazzbo Quote
HutchFan Posted October 15 Report Posted October 15 One of the finest Ellington tributes/programs that I've heard. Quote

I'd especially be interested in that 7 CD box set they put out 2 years ago. If anyone knows where there's one for sale, let me know. Quote

I think Ken is still active at the LAJI and you could ask online whether some copies from his members series are still available. Havent any Information everything was sold out. Quote
