jazzbo Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Cold, and a light dusting of snow overnight–more scheduled for this afternoon. It’s one of those winters. Starting off with disc 8 of the 13 cd “Nucleus–Live at the BBC” box set from Repertoire Records. Keyboard-less sessions from 1984 and 1985. Quote
Holy Ghost Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Superb opening track. Edit to say this was my gateway to Grant Green, sublime solo, and I've been hooked ever since. Balladeer Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Ariel Bart - After Silence (self-released) Not your usual trio date: Ariel Bart (chromatic harmonica), Talia Erdal (cello) and Arseny Rykov (piano). The young Israeli who now lives in Berlin penned all the tracks of her third studio album. Wonderful music and surely one of the most remarkable albums I´ve heard in years. Quote
