In any case the music is just so good. I'm really astonished at how hard the Teagarden Verves are to find second hand. I'd have assumed that this music shifted units, but I'm not sure how many times I've encountered them in the wild. Edited January 31 by Rabshakeh Quote
jazzbo Posted February 1 Report Posted February 1 Interesting, I had no trouble finding them online over this decade, bought stereo and mono copies for myself and copies for others as gifts. Quote

jazzbo Posted February 1 Report Posted February 1 (edited) COLD. I’m getting used to it, especially when it’s not snowing. Lots of snow, over a foot, everywhere I haven’t shoveled, and on all the trees. BEAUtiFUL. I’m listening to John Coltrane “Crescent” Impulse Japan SHM-SACD, an amazing mastering of this classic material. Edited February 1 by jazzbo Quote

Thanks for posting, I'm always interested to hear what Ross is up to. Just read the blurb on the BN site, I hope the weighty inspirations don't forestall the music too much. Only one way to find out. The vocal elements are not pervasive and seem quite appropriate. The writing, arranging and playing I think are killer. Now I've been returning to this one quite a bit. Quote
