My favorite time of year. Mine as well! It's a relatively brief time here in the desert when there's a little pop of color to things. Then the long hot summer with muted colors and many plants going dormant for the summer. It's an interesting contrast to other places I've lived where things go more dormant in the winter months. Yes, that's quite different than here. These few weeks are the unfolding of the green that will dominate the summer. And summer here can be a bit humid but is beautiful, as is the fall. But the emergence of foilage in the early Spring feels spiritual, mystic, I love this period. Quote
