Mine as well!  It's a relatively brief time here in the desert when there's a little pop of color to things.  Then the long hot summer with muted colors and many plants going dormant for the summer.  It's an interesting contrast to other places I've lived where things go more dormant in the winter months.

Yes, that's quite different than here. These few weeks are the unfolding of the green that will dominate the summer. And summer here can be a bit humid but is beautiful, as is the fall. But the emergence of foilage in the early Spring feels spiritual, mystic, I love this period.

Yeah, she refers to herself as retired,
but it's from her later teaching job at
Plano East Senior High. The library gig
is just a thing to do. She's in her mid-80s.

I have the occasional nightmare concerning the Cliffs of Moher.
It was its regular cold and windy day there and I was wearing a
long coat. While taking a photo, I accidentally stood on the bottom
back of my coat. When I went to stand up from a crouching position,
I lost my balance and instead of falling forward, I luckily fell backwards.
Even the sometime thought of that moment gives me intense shivers.
