I was about to post this story too. But is everything really free to download and how do we search it?  I wonder if there are any jazz tracks never released on Lp or cd.

I used the filters to find jazz, blues and R&B discs:

Click on the image of the record and it brings up mucho detail, including notes on which transfer was considered "best". On the right of screen is a box with links to downloads and the "best" transfer is named in a simpler way to make it easy to grab that one if you want.

(Wow, these are huge files. FLAC for Eddie Taylor's Bad Boy is 74 MB!)

I see some sources listed as Internet Archives, which if it's what i think it is, has been a fascinating site for years, just go blind, stumble through, and see where you land.  Is this a new iteration of that, or just what?
