Registration as New Member

Some people on the Hoffman Forum would like to join here but can't find a link to register. I can't find it myself; I signed out too. Does anyone have any answers?

There's a link for existing members to log in at the top right, but I haven't yet found a way to register to join.

I'd advise them to engage that existing user interface to see what happens if they enter a non-existent user name. either that, or try the log-on with Facebook option.

That would help if a member were having a hard time signing in, but doesn't help anyone register to join.

That seems like a flaw in the logic, then. Maybe Jim A needs to flip a switch on his end?

While we're waiting on that, what makes a better Grampa name - "Flow-Flaw" or "Flaw-Flow"?

Yes, but Jim does it himself. Do you know someone who wants to join? If so, I can give you the details.

I don't.  I just know that someone posted that there are new members  from Hoffman looking to join. 

It just hit me with the recent death of board member JohnS  and Jazzmule  before that - and knowing that there's a lot of former posters out there - that there should be a transparent way of joining that does not require a secret pathway.

How do potential new member know that they must contact Jim?

There's a shortfall in contributions this year - could new members be potential sources of additional funds?

I posted over at Hoffman the procedure requested by Jim, which is as follows: Jim requests that you email him. He has to manually add new members because of spam. His email is b3groover@gmail.com.  When you email him, please indicate what you'd like your username to be.
