Matthew Posted July 26, 2020 Report Posted July 26, 2020 Too bad, she was a joy in The Adventures of Robin Hood. RIP Quote

RIP That's always the movie I think of first whenever Ms. de Havilland's name comes up. I've only seen GWTW once and I have never seen either of the two films for which she won Oscars. Quote
JSngry Posted July 26, 2020 Report Posted July 26, 2020 I like that they named the motor oil after her, RIP. Quote
Milestones Posted July 26, 2020 Report Posted July 26, 2020 A long life indeed. The Heiress, based on a Henry James novel, is probably my favorite among her films; and it's one of her Oscar-winning performances. R.I.P. Quote

RIP If you like Robin Hood, you should check out 1935's Captain Blood, a classic swashbuckler that first paired de Havilland with Errol Flynn. Rest peacefully, Ms. de Havilland, and thank you. Quote
