GA Russell Posted December 18, 2022 Report Posted December 18, 2022 Last year I vowed to decrease my time on the internet. This year I plan to reduce it much more. The problem is not that I am wasting time on the computer, but rather that I have not spent enough time doing many other important things. Anyone else have any resolutions? Quote
Dan Gould Posted December 19, 2022 Report Posted December 19, 2022 Figure out why my BP is consistently north of 200. I have none of the other symptoms (chest pain, headache, blurred vision, confusion) to indicate impending doom, so I am not freaked out about it (and the second number isn't over 120, either). But I wonder if my new primary care doc will be as sanguine as I am. I see him tomorrow actually. Quote

jazzbo Posted December 19, 2022 Report Posted December 19, 2022 I'm going to concentrate on something my Dad had encouraged me to consider and implement the last few years. Quote
soulpope Posted December 19, 2022 Report Posted December 19, 2022 Take more into account that time is fleeting .... Quote
Dan Gould Posted December 19, 2022 Report Posted December 19, 2022 Thank you Chuck and GA. Nothing concentrates the mind like finding out what a combo of high BP and high bad cholesterol does to your ten year risk of stroke/heart attack. Ready to start up some good meds. Quote
JSngry Posted December 19, 2022 Report Posted December 19, 2022 I'm resolving to use retirement (March 3, 2023) to stop being such a g-d sedentary desk jockey. That itself might fix some of the things that the current medicinal regime is working on...I hope... Quote
