felser Posted December 1, 2024 Report Posted December 1, 2024 Agree on kickoffs, and Chiefs continue to defy logic pulling out ugly wins. Quote
JSngry Posted December 22, 2024 Author Report Posted December 22, 2024 That Eagles/Commanders game was WILD!!! Quote

Kevin Bresnahan Posted December 30, 2024 Report Posted December 30, 2024 The Bills have their work cut out for them. When they play the Chiefs, they're up against a formidable opponent - the refs. Quote
Dub Modal Posted September 21 Report Posted September 21 Wild weekend so far. This Dallas/Bears game is basically being played as defense optional so could be in store for more craziness. Quote

JSngry Posted September 29 Author Report Posted September 29 OT rules are what's crazy. All that work and there's no winner, like a scrimmage. Quote
JSngry Posted October 3 Author Report Posted October 3 I get that a tie sucks, but not as .much as a loss, right? Quote

When I was growing up, I noticed that a tie was almost always between a heavily-favored team and an obvious underdog. So I assumed that one team went away happy, and the other disappointed. Quote
Kevin Bresnahan Posted October 17 Report Posted October 17 The Browns really don't need another QB on their salary cap. Quote

Probably not going to work but whoever is their next HC they at least have a good defense to build from. Quote
Dub Modal Posted 15 hours ago Report Posted 15 hours ago Colts going for broke this year with the trade for Sauce. Seattle's going for it too. Going to be interesting down the stretch to see who can wrap up these playoff spots. And massive respect for Joe Flacco. Probably the right move for the Browns ultimately, but giving him over to a division rival and then seeing him do this has to be tough. Quote
Kevin Bresnahan Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago I don't get the love for Sauce Gardner. In 3 and a half years (55 games) he has 3 total interceptions. Even with him at CB, the Jets were 17-38. They're 0-7 this season. If the Colts don't use him right, he won't help them much. Even worse, in two seasons, his contract balloons to $21M (2027), then $26M (2028), and finally $31M (2029), $31M (2030). I certainly wouldn't give up 2 1st round picks for him. Quote

His stats and play lately aren't worth 2 firsts for sure. But he's never played on a team with a good offense either, and a better offense can help defenders by putting pressure on the other team to make mistakes if they're trying to catch up. They overspent though, and anything short of a super bowl after that is going to be a disappointment. Jets were also trying to trade Breece Hall and received an offer from the Chiefs for a 4th Rd pick. Jets wanted a 3rd and held out. Kind of weird they'd do that after getting those 2 firsts. Not a Jets fan btw but have friends that are. I give them my condolences just about every season. Quote
