Never mind, just another super typhoon. People in Tokyo are totally blase about typhoons despite the tv's best efforts at spreading dread. Quote

A couple of girls on bicycles took shelter in the entrance area and were clearly scared, as was my Missus. Quote

Yeah, we in San Bernardino, were supposed to have thunderstorms and rain, but no way, only a few drops and that was it. Next 7 days in 100"s. Quote

Luxury It reminds me of a summer visit to Sheffield. I went to the barbers and was asked how I was coping with the heat, it was 25C !! Obviously, since it has arrived, it hasn't cracked 80, and I even had to use the heater this morning as it dipped into the mid-forties. You can't ask more from a product than that... Quote

Asked how he was coping with the English summer heat, he said they were allowed to go home from work in Perth when it reached 40C Quote

king ubu Posted August 3, 2014 Report Posted August 3, 2014 Crazy weather all of July and continuing ... sun and rain within minutes, hot and humid to pretty cool within hours ... if anyone needs any more proof of climate change, there it is - whole year was weird already - no winter at all (I don't think it was ever below freezing for a whole day), summer was probably what he had in June, but it was way too warm in March already.
