Dan Gould Posted May 5, 2004 Report Posted May 5, 2004 I thought about doing this a few weeks ago, then I realized I might as well wait til an even ten BFTs have been shipped and discussed and revealed. So, which one did you like best? Quote
catesta Posted May 5, 2004 Report Posted May 5, 2004 I could make one real awesome compilation out of the ones I've participated in. They have all had some real gems on them. Quote

mikeweil Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 Impossible to vote, as I enjoyed them all and appreciate the effort of every compiler just the same. And I noticed I cannot separate the discussion from the Test disc, both are inseparably connected for me. A suspenseful lively discussion enhances the listening experience. It's so great to be exposed to new music, or turned to discs one has but has neglected. I LOVE BLINDFOLD TESTS !!! Quote

Big Al Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 No kidding! Since I joined with BFT #4, I've been saving the highlights of each disc onto my hard drive at work as mp3's, and then hitting "random" on the player, and it's like having my own jazz radio station at work! So far with six discs worth of BFT's, I've got about TEN HOURS of music!!!! So yeah, it's too hard to pick a fave! Quote
Man with the Golden Arm Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 shouldn't this be in the "politics" forum? but seriously i would love to gets me the first three as well. i even resisted looking over there in hopes that i'd someday peruse them w/o knowledge. Quote
tooter Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 Perhaps I shouldn't have voted as I didn't get all the BFT's included, but I have. Only gave it a moment's thought. What was I voting about? I liked some things in each that I've had and even tracks I didn't like so much were often interesting. Presentation? Compiler's comments and answers? I hope the BFT compilers that don't score so high will not be discouraqed. No, skins around here are thicker than that! Quote
dutchmanx Posted June 5, 2004 Report Posted June 5, 2004 I found this site just recently (someone mentioned it at Hoffman's forum at:Steve Hoffman? Steve ) so I have only BFT ## 8,10 and 12 (unfortunately #9 and #10 didn't find their way to me) and I am enjoying them very much. I wish I was aware of Organissimo forums earlier! Anybody wants to provide me with previous issues? Quote
