  1. On cd for the first time and with 40 mins of extra material, sounds great! https://eltondean.bandcamp.com/album/they-all-be-on-this-old-road
  2. Pharaoh Sanders live in Paris (1975) ORTF source

The Japanese CD version is now up as coming out in Oct on Dusty Groove https://www.dustygroove.com/item/979452?sf=Pharoah+Sanders&incl_oos=1&incl_cs=1&kwfilter=Pharoah+Sanders&sort_order=artist Hopefully they will do the other ones, Billy Harper, Archie Shepp, at some point too.

  4. British jazz reissues

There seems to be a cd version coming in Sept too according to this Japanese site https://merurido.jp/item.php?pdid=SBDP1101 and doesn’t seem to be a Japan only release though no mention on the Sunbeam site
  5. Interesting so if I order say £160 of cds I will pay £16 plus, just checked, 2700 Yen in postage. That isn’t too bad
  6. Amazon.jp uses the same Global shipping program but it’s hard to work out how much you might have to pay in customs, they tell you to contact the carrier to get an estimate
  7. Don’t you get screwed via customs that way, in the uk, my friend used to mark it was a gift and declare the value super low to avoid it. Most proxy shopping I have seen is pretty expensive, unless you know of one you can recommend?
  8. Hi, i used to have a friend in Japan who would kindly let me have a box of cds from Amazon.jp i bought sent to him and then i would paypal him the postage and he would send to me in UK. is there anyone in Japan on here that would be open to that, i would either order a couple of cds for them or paypal them some extra cash, whatever they wanted? just thought i'd ask thanks Richard
  9. Alice Coltrane/Pharoah Sanders

Yup, tried to take a photo but keeps saying file is too big for here
  10. Alice Coltrane/Pharoah Sanders

There’s an interesting interview with Ravi Coltrane in the new Mojo where he talks about this release and also that there are tons more recordings still in the archive and the next thing to come out this autumn is another John Coltrane Quartet live album recorded in 1965 the same week as Live in Seattle!
  11. Mine have always come perfectly packaged by them, whether it be a jewel case or a mini lp.
  12. received my first two batches yesterday, look great, havn't listened yet. another option is to use this seller on ebay, he's very reliable, postage is cheap and will mark as a gift to avoid import fees https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/274801428002?hash=item3ffb710622:g:GcUAAOSwbdJgpeos
  13. Tim Buckley - Merry-Go-Round at the Carousel

amazing , had no idea about this, they should really have made it a 2 disc release to include those other tracks.

  15. Hah sadly it might be a while, I have a friend in Japan who I have it all sent to and then he sends it to me in UK when I have a big box full, might be a couple of months given his tardiness. I might have to pick up some of those Chick Corea shm-cds as well to fill up the box
