sidewinder
Grachan Moncur 'Some Other Stuff' hissfree mono BN NYK label with ear I've compared my NY USA stereo of this one against the Conn and there's no contest. (Yet again) the original vinyl leaves the Conn for dust.

sidewinder
The Boswell Sisters, a 3LP box that was released in 1982 by CBS/CSP. Love those Sisters A Henri Renaud production, Brownie? He put out some nice stuff on CSP around that vintage. Love that 'Essential Miles Davis' 3LP set (the one with the fluffy cover)that was put out around 1974. Love that 'Essential Miles Davis' 3LP set (the one with the fluffy cover)that was put out around 1974. This was a made in USA box. With minimal inside halfpage tracks listing plus short backcover liner notes by Michael Brooks!

patricia
Jimmy Smith. Which Jimmy Smith album?? Frustrating thing. At my usual vintage vinyl outlet, there is a marker for a section for Smith, but there are NEVER any albums in that section. I have tons of Smith on CD, but nothing, so far, on vinyl. I remain hopeful, but damn that's frustrating.

It reminds me of the music from the Sally Potter film, "The Tango Lesson". Wonderful!!! This will be followed by "Scott Joplin - Palm Leaf Rag" the 1974 recording by the Southland Stingers. Then, "Pastiche" by The Manhatten Transfer.
