A little over $2.00 seemed a pretty good price for this rather wonderful CD.

I was awfully surprised to see Sal Salvador Quintet & Quartet in the used bins at Dusty Groove. It appears to be the original Conn (and in good shape), not the new CDR Amazon is pushing. Only $9!

Yeah, not the world's greatest score, but I thought Dusty would have it more in the $12-15 range. I had most of the sessions already, but I've never heard the first 6 tracks.

The Jimmy Giuffre Complete Capitol/Atlantic recordings on Mosaic (CD version) in perfect condition for $50.

I've wanted to hear it for around ten years, but I'd never pulled the trigger on The Complete Roulette Jack Teagarden Sessions Mosaic.  When I saw that someone was selling the first three discs for $11.99 on Amazon, I pounced on it.  I then saw that a seller on eBay was selling new single discs from the set, but the listing didn't say which one.  It turned out that he had all of them, so I paid $15.98 for the first three discs used, and $21.77 for the last disc new.  As I often find the booklets disappointing, I'm very pleased with snagging the whole set for $37.75.

Producer’s Note: For the recording session live at The Rountdable in New York City (discs one and two), we have restored the music to the order in which the musicians performed it. The three studio albums are in the sequence in which they were first released. Jazz Maverick and all but the last tune of The Dixie Sound Of Jack Teagarden are on disc three. Disc four starts off with the final tune of that album, followed by the ten tunes on A Portrait Of Mr. T and five unissued songs from the same session. We were able to use the original three-track masters on all but the Jazz Maverick session, which has survived only in its stereo LP master form. Unfortunately, the excessive reverb on some of Teagarden’s vocals from that album cannot be reduced.

I got this brand new CD last week from a seller on Amazon for 99 cents + shipping.

It's a good disc, certainly worth that price.  I see there is still one new copy for sale at 99 cents and a couple of used copies starting at 80 cents on Amazon right now.
