Noel has put out some pretty decent pop albums over the past several years.

Can't throw enough superlatives at this.  Utterly spectacular, and the pinnacle of her fascinating (though admittedly somewhat uneven) career.   Also possibly my favorite recording of the decade, all genres included.

Fascinating, but doesn't sound much like what you'd expect.  More sort of Madchester/Trance.  But really really good of that type.

The DREAM SYNDICATE The Universe Inside vinyl at Juno Records.

It's all taken from a single late night jam that they later cut up, added horns and voice.

I bought this CD mainly for the rare Christmas album tracks and it is worth it for that alone.  The other tracks are pretty fun too.  If I had owned a jukebox back in the day, I alone would have guaranteed that "Don't You Know Yockomo" would have gone Top 40 because I would have bought up every available copy I could find in order to guarantee that this record would always be on my jukebox.  It's the kinda record that needs to be heard on a jukebox.  It's sort of like Cab Calloway meets The Dixie Cups.  What's not to like?
