In the family we call this "Glossop weather" as we would go the few miles to that higher place to find snow for sledging when my daughters were little. We had a good bit more snow than that last winter. My Indian pal at the local kebab take out was both amazed and horrified, he'd never seen more than a few flakes of snow in Bengal. johnblitweiler Posted December 28, 2014 Report Share Posted December 28, 2014 My nephew keeps his home at 62 degrees and my brother and sister-in-law (they grew up in cold places) keep their home at under 60 degrees. My niece and I are unhappy at less that 78 degrees. No genetic consistency here. Warmest Christmas in Madison, Wisconsin in recent years.
