Also been dealing with back problems for years. Had surgery for a herniated disk in 2000. I have things relatively under control now. Tylenol helps, and Gabapentin for some related neurological symptoms. My father always complained about having a "bad back", but I never knew exactly what he meant by that.

Thanks for the suggestion. Normally, I never shovel but because we were supposed to get 20 inches or so and I was concerned tge snow guy woukd need a backhoe, I did some shoveling while the snow was falling. Felt fine until a day later.
